About Oscar E. López, Ph.D.

Information systems researcher and educator specializing in data, business intelligence, and AI in business.

Who maintains this data?

Oscar E. López holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he is a full-time lecturer. His work centers on data administration, business intelligence, data analytics, and artificial intelligence in business — he co-created Isenberg's AI-in-Business course — with research in online privacy and trust.

Why is he credible on a data feed?

Building clean, well-governed, well-documented data pipelines is his field. He teaches SQL, data warehousing, and business intelligence (OIM 350, SCH-MGMT 602), and has been recognized with teaching awards. This project applies that expertise to a public, transparent data product for the agent web. The economic index methodology is co-signed by an economist advisor.
